About The Position
Marathon Health is hiring a PRN advanced practice provider to deliver relationship-based, personalized primary care. Providers practice autonomously and offer comprehensive care, including prevention, chronic disease management, urgent visits, wellness care, and health education. The role emphasizes smaller patient panels, appointments ranging from 20 to 60 minutes, fewer administrative and insurance-related tasks, and measuring success through health outcomes rather than patient volume or billing. Resources such as UpToDate and RubiconMD are available at no charge to providers and patients. The position is open to Nurse Practitioners and Physician Associates. Pay is $55.00–$72.00 per hour; the actual offer may vary based on geographic location, years of experience, and skill level. Applications are accepted until a final candidate is selected.
Requirements
- For Nurse Practitioners: active license and current ANCC or AANP board certification.
- For Physician Associates: active license and current NCCPA board certification.
- CPR/BLS certification required by the start date.
Nice To Haves
- Independent practice provider status, where applicable under state regulations.
- Federal DEA number; it may be required for full prescribing ability.
- Independent family practice experience, including routine wellness care, chronic care management, and urgent visits.
