About The Position
Marathon Health is hiring a PRN Advanced Practice Provider to deliver relationship-based, personalized primary care. Providers offer holistic care that includes prevention, chronic disease management, health education, routine wellness care, and urgent visits. They practice autonomously and at the top of their license, with resources such as UpToDate and RubiconMD available at no cost to providers and patients. Marathon Health emphasizes smaller patient panels, appointments ranging from 20 to 60 minutes, prevention and wellness, and fewer administrative and insurance-related tasks. Success is measured by health outcomes rather than patient volume and billing. The role supports care delivered through Marathon Health’s onsite, nearsite, network, and virtual health centers.
Requirements
- For Nurse Practitioners: active license and current ANCC or AANP board certification.
- For Physician Associates: active license and current NCCPA board certification.
- CPR/BLS certification is required by the start date.
Nice To Haves
- Independent practice provider status, where applicable under state regulations.
- Federal DEA number; it may be required for full prescribing ability.
- Independent family practice experience, including routine wellness care, chronic care management, and urgent visits.
