Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, with a concentration in Finance or Finance-Economics, in progress
Internship experience (an asset)
You are curious and interested in the field of investment.
You have skills in problem-solving and decision-making.
You enjoy collaborating with your colleagues and partners.
You have basic proficiency in Excel.
For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English speaking colleagues across the country.
No Canadian work experience required, but must be eligible to work in Canada.
You are available 35 hours per week from August 31 to December 18, 2026.
Must be actively enrolled in a post-secondary institution during the internship

Responsibilities

Support portfolio managers and analysts in investment decisions
Involvement in the selection of managers for private placements
Creation of portfolio management tools
Participation in numerous meetings dealing with different asset classes with your team as well as with other teams from Intact Investment Management
Monitoring the private placement portfolio and its various asset classes (Infrastructure and Real Estate, private debt, structured products, and many others)
Meetings with external managers for portfolio monitoring of private placements and the search for new investment opportunities
Learning several software programs (Bloomberg, Excel, and the Office suite)
Execution of various special projects, including projects related to the integration of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) factors in investment
