Requirements

  • Bachelor of Business Administration, focus in finance or finance- economics, in progress
  • You are curious and interested in the field of investment
  • You have problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • You enjoy collaborating with colleagues and partners
  • You have basic proficiency in Excel
  • For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English speaking colleagues across the country.
  • No Canadian work experience required, but must be eligible to work in Canada.
  • You are available 35 hours per week from August 31 to December 18, 2026
  • Must be currently enrolled in a post-secondary institution during the internship

Responsibilities

  • Participation in numerous meetings dealing with different asset classes with your team as well as other teams at Intact Investment Management
  • Support for managers and analysts of the asset allocation team in investment decisions and portfolio optimization
  • Conducting performance forecasts for all asset classes considered by Intact Investment Management
  • Monitoring the insurance portfolio and the fund
  • Meetings with external experts from various markets, strategists, and economists
  • Monitoring of the capital protection model
  • Learning several software programs (Bloomberg, Excel, and the Office suite)
  • Execution of various special projects, including the improvement of quantitative models used by the asset allocation team
