About The Position

Alpine Intel is seeking a Private Investigator to conduct investigations involving workers’ compensation claims, liability investigations, multi-line insurance claims, criminal and civil background checks, and other investigative tasks. Most cases require stationary and mobile video surveillance. The role involves completing assigned cases, collecting and reporting evidence, and potentially testifying about collected facts in hearings or court. The work may require early starts, long days, and travel to surrounding areas. The Robison Group provides remote and/or classroom training before investigators begin their roles.

Requirements

• At least one year of private investigator experience is strongly encouraged.
• Self-motivated, determined, and intuitive.
• Strong initiative and work ethic.
• Ability to identify critical issues quickly and accurately.
• Demonstrated observational, organizational, and listening skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and possible evenings.
• Must own a reliable computer, preferably a laptop.
• Must have access to high-speed internet and a scanner or fax machine.
• Strong computer and internet skills.
• Proficient with a digital camera.
• Must own reliable transportation.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Must submit a driving record from the state DMV or Secretary of State upon hire.
• Must pass an extensive background check.
• Must pass a drug test with negative results, except when undergoing documented medical treatment.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly complete assigned cases.
• Testify about collected facts in hearings or court as needed.
• Assist other investigators with challenging cases.
• Use sound judgment during investigations and when making recommendations for future handling.
• Submit updates, evidence, and reports in a timely manner.
• Upload surveillance video after each day of investigation.
• Conduct stationary and mobile video surveillance and other investigations.
• Travel into surrounding areas as required.
