DigiStream Investigations is hiring a Private Investigator for the Greater St. Louis region to conduct covert investigations, primarily gathering evidence related to potentially fraudulent workers’ compensation claims. The position involves travel, autonomy, and varied fieldwork rather than desk work. The schedule is full-time, averaging 50–55 hours per week and 10–11 hours per day depending on travel distance. Commute time in a company vehicle to and from cases is paid, and daily overtime is provided for commute time. Entry-level starting pay is $18 per hour; full-time staff are currently earning a stated range of $40,000–$45,000 or more due to paid commute time. The company provides hands-on training, a surveillance vehicle, equipment, and paid travel to local and remote assignments. Investigators may travel out of town for 10–15 days per month and must be available to work any day of the week, including weekends and holidays. Work may start as early as 5:00 a.m. and occasionally continue into the evening.
