Arcis Golf team members thrive on anticipating needs, forging connections, and elevating experiences for our team, members, and guests. We are an inclusive team of unique individuals who show up each day with a grateful spirit, humble heart, and a genuine respect for one another. This role involves partnering with the Sales Director to ensure a seamless transition from booking through event completion, developing and implementing SOPs, managing vendor relationships, and assisting with budgeting. The manager will oversee a reduced number of weddings, focusing on VIP and assigned events, and will be responsible for the performance management and professional development of Private Events Coordinators. Travel to other Clubs for training and support is expected during the off-season (November-March). The position also includes participation in corporate initiatives, such as transitioning to a new BEO/event management system, and weekly BEO and manager meetings. Additional responsibilities may be added as the role evolves. The role also entails hiring, onboarding, training, scheduling, and developing Private Events Coordinators, reviewing BEOs for accuracy, and partnering with Food & Beverage leadership to develop training programs and service standards. Management of departmental software, marketing materials, and back-end menu programming is also required. The manager will provide on-site coaching for banquet staff, lead continuous improvement initiatives, and serve as the point of escalation for client concerns. Oversight of seasonal tent setup/teardown and identification of revenue enhancement opportunities are key aspects of the role. Development of an internship program for hospitality students is also a responsibility.
