This role partners with the Sales Director to ensure a seamless transition from booking through event completion. The manager will develop and implement SOPs and operational processes to improve consistency, efficiency, and team performance, while maintaining relationships with Preferred Vendors. This position also assists with annual budgeting and forecasting for the Private Events department and manages a reduced number of weddings annually, focusing primarily on VIP events and other events as assigned at the Private Events Director's discretion. The role involves conducting performance reviews, coaching, and professional development for the Private Events Coordinators, including providing recommendations for merit increases and career growth opportunities. Travel to other Clubs during the off-season (November-March) for training, task force assignments, and operational support is expected. The manager will participate in corporate initiatives, including the transition to a new BEO/event management system, and weekly BEO meetings. Additional responsibilities may be added as the role continues to develop and the needs of the department evolve, in collaboration with the Private Events Sales Director and other Club leadership.
