About The Position

Union Park Capital is a private equity firm based in Boston, MA, with a buy-and-build strategy focused on lower middle-market Industrial Technology companies. These companies provide products and services for technical, application-specific industrial environments. The firm pursues equity investments of $10 million to $50 million, targeting businesses with $10 million to $75 million in revenue. The strategy involves partnering with management teams to grow under-managed businesses in fragmented markets through organic growth and strategic add-on acquisitions. Union Park Capital is seeking an Analyst to be involved in all aspects of the investment process, including origination, execution, and portfolio management. This role offers a unique opportunity to enter the private equity field, gain hands-on experience, and receive coaching from experienced investors.

Requirements

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
• 2+ years in investment banking, private equity, sales, finance, accounting, or similar role
• Demonstrated competency in financial statement analysis, business valuation, accounting, and finance.
• Demonstrated ability and interest in working with a small group of investment professionals.
• Willingness to travel, including internationally.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate long-term relationships with seasoned executives to conduct primary research and evaluate prospective industries, yielding high-quality, proprietary deal flow for new platform investments and add-on acquisitions.
• Concentrate origination efforts on key project initiatives in industry segments and deal types.
• Provide assistance in deal analysis, including business diligence, financial modeling, and valuation.
• Apply sound analytical skills to analyze businesses and succinctly communicate key attributes, opportunities, and risks.
