About The Position

BAYADA’s Columbia Skilled Office is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with a passion for home care to join its Skilled Private Duty Nursing team. The role provides compassionate, high-quality, reliable care to clients in their homes, with one-to-one client care and a schedule selected to suit the nurse and matched with a client. BAYADA offers paid orientation with virtual and hands-on training, onboarding support, and nurse appreciation events. Nurses travel to one client’s home near them, carry out and document doctors’ orders, perform assessments, monitor client conditions, and document observations, interventions, and evaluations. The pay range is $26–$28 per hour. BAYADA describes itself as a nonprofit serving the community and an equal opportunity employer.

Requirements

Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by a school transcript or diploma.
A current nursing license in good standing in the state.

Responsibilities

Travel to one client’s home near you on a schedule you choose, matched with a client.
Follow up with, execute, and properly document doctors’ orders.
Perform assessments and monitor clients’ conditions.
Document observations, interventions, and evaluations.
