About The Position
Aspen Private Duty Nursing is seeking an experienced, compassionate LVN to provide one-to-one care for an oncology patient in a private residence in Ennis, Texas. The role offers full-time and PRN opportunities, with day and night shifts consisting of 12-hour shifts. Nurses provide individualized care in a private duty setting, with clinical oversight and support from the care team.
Requirements
- Active, unrestricted Texas LVN license.
- Experience caring for oncology patients.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills.
- Ability to work independently in a home setting.
- Current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care in a one-to-one home setting.
- Monitor the patient’s condition and manage oncology-related symptoms.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered.

- Respond appropriately to changes in the patient’s status.
