About The Position

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) for adult private duty nursing. This role involves providing compassionate homecare with a focus on achieving outstanding clinical outcomes. The position is for every other Saturday and Sunday, 4:00 am - 12:00 pm, in Rocky Mount, NC, serving an adult patient with G-tube and Trach needs. The family is flexible with the weekend schedule if the specified hours do not work. Requirements

• Active, unencumbered LPN/LVN license in the state of practice.
• Compact licenses must be transferred to the state of residence within 90 days.
• Current CPR certification (with hands-on component).
• TB skin test (current within the last 12 months).
• Reliable transportation.

Nice To Haves

• Six months of prior hands-on nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide private duty nursing care to adult patients.
• Administer care for patients with G-tube and Trach needs.
• Work every other Saturday and Sunday from 4:00 am to 12:00 pm (noon).
• Utilize electronic documentation via a tablet in the patient's home.
• Collaborate with the team to achieve outstanding clinical outcomes.
• Deliver care with heartfelt compassion and empathy.
