About The Position

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for private duty nursing in Rocky Mount, NC, serving an adult patient with G-tube and Trach needs. This role involves providing compassionate homecare, focusing on achieving outstanding clinical outcomes. The schedule is for every other Saturday and Sunday from 4:00 am to 12:00 pm, with flexibility offered for the opposite weekend.

Requirements

• Must have and maintain an active, unencumbered RN license in the state of practice.
• Compact licenses must be transferred to the state of residence within 90 days.
• Current CPR certification (with hands-on component).
• TB skin test (current within the last 12 months).
• Reliable transportation.

Nice To Haves

• Six months of prior hands-on nursing experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide private duty nursing care to an adult patient.
• Administer care for patients with G-tube and Trach needs.
• Ensure outstanding clinical outcomes through compassionate homecare.
• Work every other Saturday and Sunday from 4:00 am - 12:00 pm, with flexibility for the opposite weekend.
• Utilize electronic documentation via a tablet provided in the patient's home.
