About The Position

Castor Home Health Solutions is seeking a compassionate LPN or RN to provide 1:1 overnight pediatric nursing care for a young child in the home. This is a meaningful opportunity for a nurse who enjoys relationship-based care, steady overnight work, and the chance to make a difference for one patient and family. Our nurses provide personalized care in the comfort of the patient’s home while building trusted, long-term relationships. We carefully match nurses with the right-fit family for long-term success, and we provide paid hands-on training, 24/7 clinical support, and a laptop in the home for easy charting.

Requirements

• Active Illinois RN license
• CPR certification, or willingness to obtain
• Compassionate, dependable nurses
• Nurses who enjoy consistent, relationship-based care
• New grads encouraged to apply

Nice To Haves

• No private duty nursing experience? We provide paid hands-on training in trachs, vents, G/J tubes, and more so you feel confident and supported before working independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 skilled nursing care in the home
• Support the overnight care needs of a teenager
• Monitor vitals, administer medications, and perform treatments as ordered
• Support the patient and family through compassionate, dependable care
• Complete simple real-time charting during your shift
