About The Position

The Private Client Services Account Manager is responsible for updating agency systems with client and policy data, processing daily reports and downloads, and preparing various insurance documents. This role involves generating pre-renewal surveys, issuing new business policies, preparing proposals, processing endorsements, and handling other policy-related tasks. The position also requires technical expertise in quoting new business, renewals, and remarkets, utilizing insurance carrier websites and internal systems. Teamwork and client service are essential, including participating in seminars, maintaining licenses, and contributing to a positive team approach. The Account Manager may also oversee client renewals, including survey preparation, client interaction, carrier negotiation, proposal presentation, and policy review. Other duties may be assigned by the Vice President of Client Services or Client Service Manager.

Requirements

  • College Degree, preferred
  • 12 to 18 months insurance industry experience preferred
  • Ideal candidate has performed significant portion of above tasks or similar activities for 24-36 months
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize work, and possess basic word processing and spreadsheet computer skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate cooperation and effective communication with clients, vendors and internally with co-workers.
  • Ability to service our clients effectively through problem solving, appropriate confidentiality, diplomacy, sensitivity and tactfulness.
  • Operational knowledge of various windows based application programs such as Excel, Word, Power Point and current Internet technologies
  • Willing to work overtime due to cyclical nature of business, as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Update Agency Systems (Sagitta, ImageRight) with new or revised client information and policy data.
  • Process Daily Reports and Work Download each day for assigned Account Executive.
  • Generate Pre Renewal Survey for all Mid-Market Accounts and VIP accounts.
  • Issue New Business Policies, including Binder and ID Cards.
  • Prepare New Business Proposals and Renewal Proposals.
  • Process Endorsements and Id cards.
  • Prepare binders and Schedules of Insurance.
  • Handle Lost policy releases.
  • Quote New Business, Renewals and Remarkets as directed by the Account Executive.
  • Utilize SilverPlume and/or individual Insurance carrier web sites.
  • Order appropriate reports as directed by the Account Manager.
  • Adhere to Department workflows as documented under Best Practices.
  • Complete Kaplan Correspondence courses for major lines of business.
  • Initiate certification in the TIIA and/or CISR.
  • Actively function as a team member to ensure superior service to all MMA Clients.
  • Participate in seminars and other training.
  • Treat clients, prospects, and company employees with courtesy and respect.
  • Oversee the process of assigned client renewals, including survey preparation, client interaction, carrier negotiation, proposal presentation, and policy review.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
