About The Position

As a Private Client Banker in Branch Banking, you are the main point of contact for a select group of Chase affluent clients and other branch customers. You manage their complete banking relationship across the company using a proactive, disciplined, advice-based approach to grow balances and ensure clients receive products and services that fit their needs. You also help acquire new clients by soliciting referrals and developing internal and external sources. The role includes connecting customers with specialists, helping them use self-service banking options, and complying with applicable policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

This position is subject to Dodd Frank/Truth in Lending Act qualification requirements for Loan Originators and requires NMLS registration under the SAFE Act. Employment and continued employment are contingent on meeting applicable background review, registration, renewal, and compliance requirements.

Requirements

• Demonstrated success using a value-added, relationship-oriented approach to acquire and deepen client relationships.
• At least 1 year of Branch Banking Banker experience or equivalent financial services experience, with verifiable success in new client acquisition, cultivating and maintaining customer relationships, and revenue generation.
• If not already registered, pass the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam, FINRA Series 6 or 7, applicable state registration (including Series 63 or 66 if required), and Life licenses, or successfully complete them within 180 days of starting the role.
• Comply with Dodd Frank/Truth in Lending Act requirements for Loan Originators, including applicable qualification and employment conditions.
• High school degree, GED, or foreign equivalent.
• Ability to work branch hours, including weekends and some evenings.
• Register with or update the National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) as required, and comply with SAFE Act registration, renewal, and update requirements.

Responsibilities

• Share the value of Chase Private Client with clients who may be eligible.
• Manage banking relationships through an advice-based approach, ensuring clients receive appropriate products and services.
• Partner with Private Client Advisors, Mortgage Bankers, and Business Relationship Managers to connect customers with specialists for their financial needs.
• Help clients access their accounts conveniently by sharing and setting up self-service options available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
• Acquire new clients by soliciting referrals and developing internal and external sources.
• Adhere to policies, procedures, and regulatory banking requirements.
