About The Position
Moore Care Caregiver Services is a family-run, family-owned and operated provider of in-home care based in Baton Rouge. The company seeks and trains caregivers to provide high-quality care and compassion to clients. The role involves caring for clients professionally and compassionately, assisting with mobility and personal care, and helping clients with a variety of tasks. The ideal candidate is patient and friendly, communicates well, and can follow instructions.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of documented caregiving experience.
- Reliable transportation.
- Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking, with attention to dietary constraints.
- Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards.
- Respectful and compassionate demeanor.
- Good time-management skills.
- Ability to clock in and out and complete care notes on a smartphone.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong ethics.
- Physical endurance.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside, including attending doctor’s appointments and going for walks.
- Assist clients with personal care and hygiene.
- Help clients with a variety of tasks while following instructions.
- Complete care notes using a smartphone and clock in and out.
