We are looking for a Private Banking Team Lead in Menlo Park, CA. This role Responsible for developing strong, low risk private banking relationships while maintaining quality customer service.

Requirements

  • Requires a bachelor's degree in banking, finance or a related field and 6+ years private banking services, lending, credit analysis or other directly related experience.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may meet qualifications.
  • Extensive knowledge of various types of loans, credit analysis, lending, loan processing and closing processes.
  • Ability to expand private banking services and loans, client relationships and cross sell bank products.
  • Requires strong sales ability.
  • Advanced experience in applicant interviewing and perceptive character judgment skills.
  • Ability to structure loans and monitor credit performance.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to train, lead and mentor a team of relationship managers.
  • Working knowledge of software applications, including word processing and spreadsheets.
  • Strong supervisory or leadership skills required.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for developing strong, low risk private banking relationships while maintaining quality customer service.
  • Acts as an account and relationship manager for new and existing clients.
  • Maintains a high level of client satisfaction by generating, managing and servicing a portfolio of clients.
  • Develops, generates and follows-up on new client leads through existing clients and referrals from other bank departments.
  • Calls on existing relationships to review portfolios and makes recommendations as needed.
  • Responsible for sales, credit analysis, proper loan structuring, client interviewing and perceptive character judgement.
  • Cross sell other bank products.
  • Responsible for managing members of a team, coaching a team to develop new relationships, growing existing relationships through cross selling and providing excellent client service.
  • Other duties as assigned.
