About The Position

We’re looking for a privacy analyst like you to apply your skills in the design, management, and support of the implementation, enforcement, and continuous improvement of ethics and compliance programs focused on data privacy. In this role, you’ll be counted on to support our client's privacy office, primarily on the Privacy Documentation Team. This is an opportunity to use your research, analysis, and writing skills to adequately assess and inform operators and senior leadership or commanders on dynamic adversarial tactics, techniques, and procedures for privacy-focused activities. Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience with privacy or information security in a professional or nonprofit environment
  • Knowledge of privacy laws and standards such as the Privacy Act, E-Government Act of 2002, or NIST SP 800-53 Revision 5
  • Ability to draft various documents for various audiences, including Privacy Threshold Analyses (PTAs) and Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs)
  • Ability to execute against clear objectives, priorities, deadlines, and success metrics or KPIs
  • Ability to work autonomously, as well as closely with project teams, stakeholders, and team leads

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with law or public policy
  • Experience with the Security Assessment & Authorization (SA&A) process
  • Experience monitoring, analyzing, and ensuring compliance with federal privacy laws and policies, including the Privacy Act of 1974, the E-Government Act of 2002, and privacy-related guidance by the Office of Management and Budget
  • Experience developing, updating, and implementing privacy-related policies, procedures, and guidance
  • Experience analyzing current and planned policies and activities
  • Experience assessing compliance with applicable privacy requirements
  • Bachelor's degree
