About The Position

This posting will be used to fill two vacancies. One position is a time-limited Program Administrator supporting Unhoused and Sheltered individuals (NextStep/AIMH) with an expected end date of 6/30/2028, while the other is an unlimited Program Administrator supporting New Americans (NAIN). The City and County of Denver offers a competitive salary commensurate with education and experience. New hires are typically brought into the organization between $60,064 - $79,584/year. The City and County of Denver utilizes a hybrid model workplace that balances the responsibilities of public service with the benefits of a flexible work environment. Employees work where needed, at a city site and/or in the community several days a week. In this position you can expect to work on site at least three days a week at the Wellington Webb Workforce Center (201 W Colfax Ave.) and/or the Denver Workforce Center at Montbello (4685 Peoria St., Suite 251, 80239). Employees must work within the state of Colorado on their off-site days. Denver Economic Development and Opportunity (DEDO) serves to support Denver’s businesses, employers, and workforce, creating shared prosperity and sustained economic growth. DEDO has sharpened its focus and enhanced alignment across divisions, ensuring its work is centered on the premise that quality jobs are the most powerful tool to create better outcomes for Denverites. DEDO accomplishes this by making Denver a place that is easy to do business with, fostering job creation, and building an economy that works for everyone. DEDO helps residents gain the skills, training, and credentials needed to secure quality jobs while also supporting, growing, and recruiting local employers. Denver Workforce Services (DWS) provides full-service employment and training to meet the needs of businesses, job seekers, and youth throughout the metro area. We connect employers with a ready workforce while assisting residents in gaining the skills needed for sustainable employment. This role is central to our "No Wrong Door" service model, ensuring that Denver’s most vulnerable populations have a clear path to economic stability. DEDO is seeking two Priority Populations Program Administrators to support critical, on the ground work connecting employers, priority population job seekers, and workforce teams. In this role, each Administrator will spend three days per week embedded within our workforce centers, building strong relationships with community partners and driving meaningful employment outcomes for individuals facing barriers to work. Each Administrator will be assigned a primary focus area of either New Americans (NAIN) or Unhoused and Sheltered individuals (NextStep/AIMH) while still providing robust support across all priority groups. These include SNAP recipients (PACE initiative), Workforce 50+, and Justice Involved individuals.
