About The Position

The Printing Technician is responsible for performing electrical and mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance to ensure the integrity of infrastructure and that production equipment performs as required. This role involves installing, altering, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical and mechanical systems, including pneumatic, hydraulic, and PLC systems. The technician will also perform required preventative maintenance tasks on equipment in the thermo department and building utilities/infrastructure, and ensure all tasks and documentation comply with ISO/SQF standards. The position requires assisting with other tasks as needed to support the team, including mold changes, and adhering to all safety, food safety, GMP, and HACCP practices.

Requirements

Electrical and mechanical repair skills
Preventative maintenance skills
Troubleshooting skills on pneumatic, hydraulic, and PLC systems
Ability to perform tasks and complete documentation in ISO/SQF
Team player attitude
Ability to assist with mold changes
Adherence to safety, food safety, GMP, and HACCP practices

Responsibilities

Install, alter, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and mechanics on all equipment, pneumatic, hydraulic, and PLC systems when needed.
Safely perform all required preventative maintenance tasks within the timeline specified on all assigned equipment in thermo department and building utilities/infrastructure.
Safely perform all tasks and complete any required documentation in ISO/SQF.
Assist with any other tasks asked of you when needed in order to be a team player and help out whenever you may be needed.
Safely assist with mold changes when needed.
Follow all safety, food safety, GMP and HACCP practices.
