A Printing Press Assistant’s main function is to assist the Printing Press Operator with the set-up, processing and checking of print jobs. During set up they will be required to collect dockets, prepare sleeves and inks as well as the colour standard. Maintaining a superior level of quality of printed material is essential to meeting and exceeding customer expectations and Tempo’s internal quality expectations. Printing Press Assistants are to maintain an organized, stocked and clean work area throughout the printing process.
