We currently have an opportunity for a Printer Operator at our Manufacturing Plant in Huntersville, NC. This is a NIGHT SHIFT position with 12-hour shifts.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Mechanical aptitude with demonstrated problem-solving skills.
Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal formats.
Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and follow standard work instructions.
Proven ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to complete paperwork accurately and timely.

Responsibilities

Operate manufacturing equipment safely and consistently at or above established performance standards for quality, efficiency, waste, and utilization.
Monitor machine performance and production output to ensure targets are met.
Perform routine machine adjustments to maintain optimal operation and product quality.
Troubleshoot, identify, and correct machine-related issues through proper adjustments and problem-solving techniques.
Inspect products to identify defects and make machine adjustments to correct quality issues.
Identify, isolate, and address defective products during the production process.
Maintain compliance with all safety, housekeeping, and standard work guidelines to ensure a safe work environment.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas in accordance with housekeeping standards.
Complete end-of-shift and production documentation accurately and on time.
Accurately record production data, machine time, crewing time, and quantities produced.
Support and provide guidance to less experienced team members as needed.
