The Durst Print Operator Specialist will print on various vinyl materials using a Durst P5 500R printer. This role involves operating the 16ft Durst P5 500R UV cure printer, reviewing client requests to understand the scope and parameters of print jobs on work orders, and determining the quantities required. The specialist will also match colors for print jobs per request, align and configure the printer per Durst specifications, and inspect random production samples to evaluate print quality. Additionally, the role includes maintaining an inventory of supplies, troubleshooting and performing basic repairs on the printing machine, and contacting technical support for unresolved issues. The Durst Print Operator Specialist is responsible for resolving printer problems in a timely manner, logging all printer problems, and performing routine maintenance as per Durst requirements. Maintaining a clean area around the printing machinery, ensuring efficient machine operation and full technology utilization, and executing material utilization are also key responsibilities. The position requires adherence to all OSHA and GPC safety policies and procedures and working as a team player.
