About The Position
The Printer Feeder supports Smurfit Westrock by setting up and operating the printing press feed. The role assists with press setup and make-ready activities and supports the press crew in meeting safety, quality, productivity, and cost targets. It also assists with preventative maintenance, daily tasks, and training.
Requirements
- Ability to read general information or short instructions.
- Ability to communicate issues to the press crew.
- Ability to distinguish color and demonstrate depth perception.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma or GED.
Responsibilities
- Assist with machine setup and make-ready of the printing press.
- Support the press crew in achieving safety, quality, productivity, and cost targets.
- Assist the press crew with preventative maintenance, daily tasks, and training.
- Perform work safely and follow all safety procedures.
