About The Position

This position is a day shift 4/10 schedule Monday through Thursday 6:00am to 4:30pm. This position is in Bio Rad’s print center that produces literature that is distributed throughout our company, it’s in a high volume print center. We are looking for a candidate that has experience in digital printing, measuring, cutting, booklet maker, GUK or stall folder with right angle and vertical stacker. Experience in coil binding, strong computer skills, able to manipulate Adobe and quite imposing software, SAP experience is a plus. This is a 10 hour shift 4 days a week, your on your feet most of that time.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 2 years experience working in the digital print industry.
• Knowledge of print specifications for sheet fed and digital production processes.
• Knowledge of Press Operator and Finishing Operator functions.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Experience in digital printing, measuring, cutting, booklet maker, GUK or stall folder with right angle and vertical stacker.
• Experience in coil binding.
• Strong computer skills.
• Able to manipulate Adobe and quite imposing software.
• SAP experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Accept, process and ship electronic jobs using electronic job submission software.
• Operate and maintain multiple high speed copying equipment to ensure efficient and effective printing services.
• Operate hydraulic paper cutter, paper folder, and plastic coil binding machines to produce high quality finishing and binding output for our customers.
• Ensures press operation by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; calling for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories; evaluating new equipment and techniques.
• Effective communication with internal and external customers.
• High quality of work.
• Be able to work alone and within a team.
• Complete assigned work in a timely manner.
• Basic troubleshooting skills relating to digital printing, folders, and cutters.

• The estimated hourly range for this position is $27.00 per hour at the time of posting.
