About The Position

A Print Project Manager oversees the entire lifecycle of printed materials—from briefing and prepress through production to final delivery. They act as the central liaison between clients, graphic design, the Production, Print, and Customer Success Teams and external vendors to ensure jobs are completed accurately, on time, and within budget.

Requirements

  • 2-3+ years of proven experience in print, publishing, or direct mail industries.
  • Strong working knowledge of print production workflows, prepress requirements, and standard materials.
  • Familiarity with the Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, and Print Management Information Systems (MIS) or CRM software.
  • Attention to detail, strong work ethic, ability to self-QA, and ensure projects are complete, accurate, made to specifications, and executed properly.
  • Exceptional organizational abilities, and the ability to resolve project issues with machinery, supplies, design and other unforeseen roadblocks, under tight deadlines.
  • Maintain a positive professional presence with a strong customer service attitude, even under pressure.

Responsibilities

  • Track and manage multiple concurrent print projects (e.g., large format, digital, offset, packaging) from concept to final shipment/delivery.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for external and internal clients, answering inquiries, providing updates, and resolving order discrepancies.
  • Prepare cost estimates, negotiate prices with external vendors, and create purchase orders while adhering to financial margins.
  • Review and inspect artwork, manage the proofing process, and ensure all specifications (paper weight, ink colors, page sizes) meet quality standards and client specifications.
  • Coordinate production schedules with internal teams and outside vendors to maximize efficiency and hit strict delivery deadlines.
