About The Position

Better Earth is seeking a detail-oriented Print Production Coordinator to support our growing Custom Print division. This position is ideal for someone with advanced Adobe Illustrator skills who enjoys print production, pre-press preparation, artwork quality control, and ensuring files are production-ready. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with the potential to transition into a full-time position based on business needs and performance. This role is not a graphic design position. Instead, it focuses on preparing, updating, organizing, and quality-checking customer artwork and production files for custom-printed packaging.

Requirements

Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator (required)
Experience with print production, prepress, or packaging artwork
Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite; Photoshop and InDesign are a plus
Exceptional attention to detail with a strong quality focus
Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining accuracy
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively while also managing assigned work independently

Responsibilities

Prepare customer artwork for print production using Adobe Illustrator
Update customer artwork and packaging
Perform prepress file preparation and quality checks
Review artwork for accuracy, consistency, and print quality
Manage and maintain artwork templates and production files
Support both Better Earth's in-house print operation and overseas print partners
Ensure artwork complies with production specifications and quality standards
Organize and maintain digital files
Assist with print production workflow and customer design inquiries
Learn about Better Earth's internal print production processes and support the department's future growth.
