Position Summary The Press Support role is a critical part of our production team, assisting Press Operators in setting up, operating, and maintaining flexographic printing presses to produce high-quality labels that meet customer specifications.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 6–12 months of manufacturing or printing experience preferred
  • Flexographic or label printing experience is a plus
  • Ability to read work instructions and job tickets
  • Familiarity with basic hand tools preferred
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Good attendance and reliability
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed
  • Must pass background check and drug screening

Responsibilities

  • Assist Press Operators with press setup and production runs
  • Read and understand job jackets and customer specifications
  • Stage materials and equipment for efficient press setup
  • Perform press make-ready, including loading/unloading cylinders, inks, dies, and materials
  • Set up and assist with auxiliary press equipment
  • Pull and verify raw materials from inventory
  • Remove finished rolls and prepare stock for the next operations
  • Perform press wash-ups and maintain the cleanliness of equipment
  • Support rewind or other departments as needed
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
  • Follow all safety procedures and report unsafe conditions
