About The Position

Smyth is hiring a skilled Flexographic Press Operator to join our growing team at our facility centrally located in the Twin Cities. This role involves operating a compressed 3-day schedule while producing high-quality labels and packaging. Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• 2+ years of printing or press operation experience

Nice To Haves

• Flexographic printing experience
• Experience with Cold foil
• Experience with Hot stamp dies
• Experience with Rotary screens
• Experience with Tactile varnishes
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or BRC quality systems

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate a Nilpeter flexographic press
• Produce high-quality labels while meeting production and quality standards
• Monitor and reduce material waste
• Ensure press is fully stocked and running efficiently
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals
• Support Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives
