About The Position

Digital Room is hiring a Print Operator for its plant in Solon, Ohio. The role works the third shift, Sunday through Thursday, from 9:45 PM to 6:15 AM. The Print Operator downloads print files and prepares printing jobs using imposition software for two printers, loads and unloads raw materials, and checks that output meets customer quality expectations. The position coordinates with teammates and management to keep orders moving through finishing and shipping on time, performs scheduled equipment maintenance and quality tests, and maintains a clean, safe workstation.

Requirements

At least 1 year of packing experience in a warehouse setting.
High school diploma.
Good problem-solving skills.
Good organizational skills.
Attention to detail.
Ability to understand English.
Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers.
Ability to use hand and power tools safely.
Ability to multitask with changing priorities.
Ability to recognize safety issues and corrective actions.

Responsibilities

Download print files and set up jobs for two printers using imposition software.
Load and unload printers with raw printed materials.
Ensure printed materials meet customer quality expectations.
Print orders in advance so they are ready for finishing and on-time shipping.
Communicate with team members to ensure orders proceed through finishing processes.
Communicate with management or the team lead to ensure assigned duties are completed.
Keep the workstation clean and free of hazardous materials.
Report workplace hazards to management immediately.
Perform scheduled maintenance.
Report equipment and material problems to the team lead or management in a timely manner.
Perform scheduled color and image quality tests and notify the team lead of issues.
Proactively complete other duties as assigned.
