About The Position

This position is responsible for monitoring the daily activities of Statement Processing and Mail Center Operations staff, which includes training, coaching, quality reviews and daily production. The Print and Mail Supervisor is responsible for promoting and exemplifying outstanding customer service in conjunction with insuring the department's basic activities and processes are completed promptly and within departmental published standards. They are accountable for the development of the staff that will be called upon to deliver operational excellence alongside ensuring staff compliance with Bancorp policies and procedures. Manage assigned front-line section within the Operations Division, ensuring that employees, equipment and materials are used properly to maximize productivity. Responsible and accountable for risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevating concerns, and personally following policies and procedures as defined. Accountable for always doing the right thing for customers and colleagues, and ensures that actions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience. While operating within the Bank’s risk appetite, achieves results.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED; college degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of workflow or team lead managing experience.
  • Leadership skills, initiative, a detail orientation, decision making skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment, presenting a professional image and commanding the respect of staff, peers, and management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required, as the candidate will be responsible for communicating with all levels of management with the organization and external customers.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook; Access is a plus.
  • Have the ability to create Excel spreadsheets (including formulas, graphs, filters, etc.) and accurately analyze the data.
  • Ability to work in a team environment, presenting professional image and commanding the respect of staff, peers and senior management.
  • Ability to multi-task and effectively prioritize assignments and projects in a fast paced work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Plans, assigns and monitors the workflow of a group of non-exempt employees within Mail Operations, maintaining optimum efficiency and cost effectiveness while ensuring that production standards are met and maintained.
  • Ensure appropriate escalation of customer service, operational risks and/or employee issues to Department Manager
  • Ensures adherence to agreed SLA's and escalates non-compliance for review to departmental manager.
  • Assists with the training of the staff ensuring each staff member is appropriately trained per the internal procedures.
  • Maintains daily, weekly and monthly reporting of departmental activity, including production, quality, staffing models, and Self Assessments.
  • Responsible for promoting team work and cross training of employees.
  • Maintains an organized, safe and efficient work area; performs all work in accordance with established procedures.
  • May be responsible for Print Operations
  • Along with departmental manager, is an employee engagement leader and facilitator.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned.
  • Responsible for working with department manager to provide employees timely, candid and constructive performance feedback; developing all employees to their fullest potential and provide challenging opportunities that enhance employee career growth; developing the appropriate talent pool to ensure adequate bench strength and succession planning; recognizing and rewarding employees for accomplishments.
