About The Position

The Print Analyst reviews, develops, and tests the digital content area of the Diamond System. He/she serves as the business analyst for digital content, working directly with customers and Application Developers to effectively gather requirements, design, test, and implement forms and other digital content that meet a given customer's business needs.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or General Equivalency Degree.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word & Excel, including expert-level experience in Microsoft Word.
  • Experience formatting professional and visually appealing documents.
  • Demonstrated technical aptitude.
  • Comfortable engaging directly with customers — setting expectations, presenting solutions, and managing feedback professionally.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Works under general supervision; relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

Nice To Haves

  • B.S. or Associate Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Math or related field a plus, or equivalent relevant work experience.
  • Familiarity with reading and use of XML files, x-path syntax, SQL databases, simple SQL queries, and HTML a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Develop professional forms for insurance companies.
  • Create and format tables in Word documents, applying mail merge fields for use in mail merge functionality.
  • Construct proper x-paths from XML files and map them to merge fields in Word documents.
  • Perform quality assurance testing and provide support for assigned products.
  • Gather and document customer requirements, translating business needs into clear digital content form specifications.
  • Author and maintain form specification documents to guide development, testing, and future maintenance efforts.
  • Understand digital content system functionality so as to provide recommendations for system changes as required.
  • Work with the Application Development staff to resolve basic to moderately complex issues.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for customer digital content requests, owning communication throughout the lifecycle of each request.
  • Manage digital content task lists for customers' requests and/or reported defects; prioritize and communicate status with customers as needed.
  • Conduct customer-facing reviews of form designs and specifications, gathering feedback and ensuring deliverables meet business expectations.
  • Create, maintain, and manage email templates to support customer digital content and notification needs.
  • Provide daily support to customers and co-workers in resolving problems.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with counterparts on customers' staff and proactively facilitate discussions to resolve problems.
