About The Position

Lee Montessori is seeking a Principal for its Brookland Campus to shape an inclusive learning environment grounded in the core values of Equity, Growth, Bravery, Joy, and Grace. The Principal will be passionate about educating every child and helping create one of the best public Montessori schools in the country. The role includes leading a vision for academic excellence, ensuring equitable outcomes for all students—including those historically marginalized—and working with staff, leaders, families, and the broader community to advance public Montessori education and nurture a strong culture with the school’s educators.

Requirements

• At least two years of effective school leadership experience, including experience in Montessori settings.
• A master’s or doctorate in education.
• At least five years of relevant teaching experience.
• Ability to lead a team of dynamic educators.

Nice To Haves

• Formal Montessori certification.
• Lead-guide experience.
