About The Position

Interventional Cardiology Therapies (ICT) brings together Medtronic’s Structural Heart, Coronary, and Renal Denervation businesses to support interventional cardiologists and heart teams with a connected, patient-focused approach. We offer a comprehensive, integrated portfolio of products aligned around the needs of the interventional cardiology service line, including innovative solutions that support the diagnosis and treatment of coronary artery disease, the restoration of structural heart functions, and the management of hypertension. This position requires up to 25% travel to support training programs, meetings, and field education initiatives. The Principal Training & Education Specialist develops and delivers learning solutions that prepare field-facing teams to effectively support healthcare professionals and patients. This role supports education and training initiatives across the Coronary, Renal Denervation, and CathWorks portfolios, partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure field personnel have the knowledge, skills, and resources needed to support product adoption and customer success.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent with 11+ years of experience in training, sales/sales support, marketing or clinical experience -OR- Associate's Degree with 9+ years experience -OR- Bachelors Degree with 7+ years experience
  • Proficient using Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Abode
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Travel up to 25%

Responsibilities

  • Acts as a training generalist and support cross-portfolio product lines (Coronary, CathWorks, Renal Denervation) for new hire onboarding and training
  • Supports Therapy Leads and partner with meeting planner team to manage agenda, logistics for in-person new hire, supplemental and advanced trainings
  • Identifies quarterly development opportunities including training projects with Therapy/Content Leads to develop and execute e-learnings or in-person training sessions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional groups (Marketing, Market Development, Sales, MedReview, Engineering, Field Management & Education) to create education programs, curricula, course materials and measurements that support business strategies and are compliant with regulatory, quality systems, and Business Conduct Standards
  • Continuously partner with Training Team counterparts to revise lesson plans to meet new training requirements, product launches, and to keep information up to date
  • Ability to to comprehend, build and maintain therapy and clinical expertise cross-portfolios
  • Design and execute creative and engaging education programs that are targeted, purposeful, and increase knowledge and skills in procedures and therapies, to enable the commercial organization meets its objectives
  • Capacity to adjust swiftly to shifting priorities to satisfy business requirements
  • Support document control process for resource development by partnering with legal, regulatory, clinical and R&D as needed.
  • Anticipate, identify, and resolve high-level problems associated with completing projects and executing programs.
