About The Position

The Walmart US eCommerce cross border inbound team builds products that allow Marketplace Sellers increased selection by offering fast, reliable, and affordable shipping options from overseas factories to the Walmart Fulfillment network. We are seeking an experienced leader to own air services in a fast-paced, rapidly growing, cross border inbound logistics service. The Principal, Technology Operations will own air services, which will include setting the long-term strategy for air products that our sellers will love; creating a critical roadmap to achieve our program goals; defining, measuring, and driving to achieve key success metrics; ensuring project deliverables remain on track (on time and on budget); and communicating and/or escalating program risks. This role is wide ranging in its scope and will include business strategy, project planning, change management, and tracking issues to resolution.

Requirements

  • Option 1: Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, industrial engineering, engineering management, business, information systems, project/program management, information technology, finance, management, or related area and 5 years’ experience in project management, program management, program operations, or related area.
  • Option 2: 7 years’ experience in project management, program management, program operations, or related area.
  • Self-starter with a builder mindset, learning and iterating while managing complexity in large and multi-threaded projects.
  • Ability to bring order to ambiguity.
  • Superior communication skills, flexibility, and ability to juggle multiple tasks to meet aggressive deadlines.
  • Organized, disciplined, and can manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experienced with executing cross functional projects without direct authority over the teams involved.
  • Background in trade compliance, supply chain, cross border logistics services, and/or freight forwarding.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in computer science, management information systems, industrial engineering, engineering management, business, information systems, project/program management, information technology, finance, management, or related area and 4 years' experience in project management, program management, program operations, or related area.
  • Knowledge in creating inclusive digital experiences.

Responsibilities
