Raytheon’s Land Air Defense Systems (LADS) Engineering Execution Department is seeking an experienced and motivated Integrated Product Team Lead to support the Integrated Fires Protection Center (IFPC) System Integration & Test program. This onsite position is based in Huntsville, Alabama, and requires up to 25% travel.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience.
  • System Integration & Test experience.
  • Experience developing test plans and procedures.
  • Experience with Verification and Validation methods.
  • The ability to obtain an Interim-Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Integrated Product Team Lead experience.
  • Experience evaluating requirements and with Verification and Validation methods.
  • Program Manager Certification level six (6) or ability to obtain within the first year in the role.
  • Experience collaborating with program leadership and partner IPT’s.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to effectively operate in a high pressure/high profile environment with program leadership and external customers.
  • Experience creating integration and verification strategies.
  • Electrical Engineering experience or exposure.
  • Effectors & Systems of Systems Background.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of engineers in integration and flight test efforts on IFPC in the planning and execution for lab and field test execution.
  • Make cost and schedule decisions to meet monthly and annual reporting requirements
  • Perform integration, verification, and field qualification testing to ensure the system under test performs according to specifications/requirements.
  • Perform data collection activities, including review and analysis of data elements, and provide detailed reports of results.
  • Create and modify documentation in support of reviews associated with formal testing, which may include Test Readiness Review (TRR) and Test Data Review (TDR) packages.
  • Support field testing and occasional travel for durations typically for a one or two week durations.
  • Support Proposal and EAC activities
  • Collaborate and effectively communicate with other IPTs, program leadership, customers, and business associates both internal and external to Raytheon.
