About The Position

The Principal System Engineer will lead and manage SOX Audits related to ITGC and ITAC. This role requires a deep understanding of audit requirements, the ability to collaborate effectively with functional and technical teams, and proficiency in accumulating evidence efficiently over time. The engineer will drive audit efforts to meet SOX requirements, ensuring appropriate evidence collection within designated timelines. Responsibilities include conducting risk assessments, identifying control gaps, recommending improvements, and utilizing integration and automation tools to streamline audit processes. The role also involves assisting in reviewing user provisioning, deprovisioning, and access review processes for Mylogin/Sailpoint, preparing detailed documentation of audit activities, reporting findings to management, and providing recommendations for process improvement and risk mitigation. Staying updated with the latest developments in IT audit methodologies and regulatory requirements is crucial. Additionally, the engineer will be responsible for the configuration and support of the Oracle RMC (Risk Management and Compliance) application.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or Information Systems
  • 5 Years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in SOX Audit (ITGC and ITAC)
  • Cloud experience with Oracle Financial ERP, EPM SaaS and PaaS
  • Experience with RMC Oracle Application
  • Experience with Security role implementation in Oracle SaaS ERP and EPM instances
  • Knowledgeable of Oracle SQL

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage SOX Audits related to ITGC and ITAC.

  • Conduct Risk assessments, identify control gaps, and recommend improvements.
  • Utilize integration and automation tools to streamline audit processes and enhance the accuracy and efficiency of controls testing.
  • Assist in reviewing user provisioning, deprovisioning and access review process for Mylogin/Sailpoint.
  • Prepare detailed documentation of audit activities, findings, and evidence collected throughout the audit process.
  • Report on audit process and communicate findings to management, ensuring clear understanding of issue and recommendations.
  • Provide recommendations of process improvement and mitigating risks.
  • Stay updated with latest developments in IT audit methodologies and regulatory requirements.
  • Responsible for configuration and support of the Oracle RMC (Risk Management and Compliance) application.
