About The Position

The Principal System Engineering role involves designing and creating scalable, high-performance, and reliable system architectures and platforms. This position translates business needs into technical specifications, ensuring seamless integration of system components. The engineer will provide guidance to development teams, align technical solutions with business objectives, and collaborate with stakeholders. Responsibilities include conducting performance and reliability analysis, resolving system issues and bottlenecks, maintaining detailed system documentation, ensuring security and compliance, and staying updated with industry trends for ongoing improvement. A key aspect of the role is developing end-to-end solutions involving device management using Broadband Forum’s TR-069 and/or TR-369 protocols, collecting data from devices, analyzing and presenting data, and recommending or automating solutions. The work requires direct knowledge of javascript, java, C, and C++, and experience with scalable cloud-native systems using AWS core services and Kubernetes for reliable container orchestration.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree in Information Technology or Computer Engineering.
  • 7 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in designing and creating scalable, high-performance, and reliable system architectures and platforms.
  • 7 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience translating business needs into technical specifications and ensuring seamless integration of system components.
  • 7 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience developing end-to-end solutions involving device management using Broadband Forum’s TR-069 and TR-369 protocols, collecting data from devices, analyzing and presenting data, and recommending or automating solutions.
  • Direct knowledge of javascript, java, C, and C++.
  • Experience working on scalable cloud-native systems using AWS core services and Kubernetes for reliable container orchestration.
