About The Position

The Boeing Company, Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Principal Supplier Program Management Specialist (Level 6) to join our Starliner team. This role involves establishing technical and business direction, developing and leading procurement and contractual strategies for key suppliers and programs, and providing technical oversight and guidance. The position requires directing the development of recovery plans, identifying strategic work movement projects, integrating company sourcing strategies, and working directly with strategic customers. This is a 100% onsite position.

Requirements

  • Technical Bachelor's, Master's or a PhD degree. (A technical degree is defined as any four year degree, or greater, in a mathematic, scientific or information technology field of study)
  • More than 5 years of experience in root cause analysis and Corrective action
  • More than 5 years of experience managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services
  • More than 5 years of experience working directly with suppliers or supplier management
  • More than 5 years of experience working with Supplier Management, Supply Chain, and/or Procurement practices and processes
  • To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

  • Develops and leads company procurement and contractual strategies for key suppliers, and programs
  • Provides technical oversight and guidance of strategic supplier plans
  • Directs the development of recovery plans
  • Establishes technical and business guidance to meet financial, delivery and product conformity targets
  • Identifies strategic work movement projects and plan elements
  • Integrates company sourcing strategies, procurement and program activities
  • Works directly with strategic customers to develop concepts and requirements for future business opportunities
