Contingent upon contract award to BAE Systems Space & Mission Systems and subsequent task orders. The Principal Space Vehicle Systems Engineer is responsible for supporting the design, development, and operation of satellites and spacecraft. This role requires technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. This position analyzes system hardware state-of-health, provides engineering technical support in response to system issues/discrepancies, and performs calibration activities to ensure specification requirements are met. Working closely with a team of engineers and technicians, you will ensure the successful execution of vehicle engineering tasks. This role requires excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment. This role requires a ability to create and maintain documentation and procedures associated with the system, interface with factory teams and other support contractors, and provide technical briefings to customers and company management.
