About The Position

OneTrust’s mission is to enable innovation through the responsible use of data and AI. They developed the first technology platform for responsible data use in 2016 and are now redefining responsible innovation with their AI‑Ready Governance Platform™. This platform unifies regulatory intelligence, automation, and connected governance workflows to ensure good governance and prevent data misuse at scale. The company is looking for a Principal Solutions Engineer (SE) to drive business development and sales growth on a national scale. This role involves providing technical expertise, competitive positioning, and product evaluation across multiple verticals to support prospective customers for the OneTrust Data Privacy Compliance platform.

Requirements

  • BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent
  • 12-16 years of relevant experience in the technology industry, ideally in an Enterprise Cloud-based Software company
  • Expertise selling, configuring and delivering software demonstrations
  • Expertise with implementing software products or solutions to enterprise companies
  • Advanced experience with REST APIs, JavaScript, FreeMarker, HTML, CSS
  • Experience working with Docker, and OpenShift
  • Advanced knowledge of web applications, SaaS architecture, cloud computing and programming
  • Ability to build relationships across stakeholders in R&D, marketing, sales and engineering
  • Strong entrepreneurial skills to excel in a complex and rapidly evolving environment
  • Willingness to travel, as job requires (Estimated 25%)

Responsibilities

  • Serve as technical expert on systems integrations during major sales opportunities, including the preparation and delivery of proposals, RFPs and custom proof-of-concepts evaluations to demonstrate OneTrust’s integration capabilities to meet client objectives
  • Lead the technical deep dive discussions to architect integrations and advise customers on best practices
  • Support Sales Teams with client meetings, presentations, and custom integration design options
  • Coordinates with internal R&D, technical integrations, partner integrations teams to influence product capabilities as well as future direction
  • Drive Sales and Marketing efforts in production of high-quality sales proposals and supporting assets
  • Maintain all sales cycle activities within the Salesforce.com CRM system
