About The Position

Docs team in Autodesk AEC Construction R&D is seeking a talented and highly motivated principal developer to join its development team, to build cloud services and products for its global customers in the construction industry. You will be part of a dynamic software development team, collaborating with global teams to deliver high quality cloud services that help customers transform to a cloud-powered Autodesk experience.

Requirements

8+ years of software development experience, preferably in SaaS or cloud-based products with proven track record of delivering results
Strong design and coding skills, with emphasis on quality, performance, and maintainability
Proficiency in web-based technologies, such as Java, Go, GraphQL, etc.
Has solid understanding of the product development lifecycle.
Experience in designing and developing scalable, reliable, and secure cloud services using AWS, or other cloud platforms
Experience in DevOps, CI/CD, and cloud operations at an enterprise level
Experience with distributed database technologies
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with ability to debug complex issues
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with ability to work effectively in a global and diverse team as a technical leader and diplomat
Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

Nice To Haves

Experience in big data analytics
Solid experience on building and maintaining event driven framework is a plus.
Familiarity with BPMN or RPA tools like, Camunda, Power Automate or AWS step function
Strong problem-solving skills and capability to work on complex systems.
Familiar with Linux/CentOS

Responsibilities

Be a technical leader in full life cycle of software development
Contribute to the architecture evolution and platform development for Forma Data Management cloud services, working with various industry software experts and stakeholders
Be hands-on in the implementation and operation of cloud services, using web-based technologies and best practices
Solve challenging technical problems and provide innovative solutions for SaaS products that integrate with Autodesk's well-known tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, etc.
Role model in high code quality, organization, and automation
Mentor and coach other developers and share your deep knowledge and expertise
