Raytheon is currently seeking a Principal Field Engineer, to provide technical Operational Support at OCONUS (Outside Continental Unites States) and CONUS (Continental United States) locations for a supported Classified Customer.

Requirements

  • Current and transferrable Top Secret security clearance with a current Tier 5 (T5) investigation (required on the first day), with the ability to obtain program access after onboarding.
  • 12+ years of MTS (Multi Spectral Targeting System) Experience
  • 5+ years Supporting Classified Customer MTS operations.
  • Bachelor’s in STEM related discipline.
  • Experience in fielding and development of new technology.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance​

Nice To Haves

  • 5+ years of Multi Spectral Targeting System experience, in direct support of Classified Customer operations.
  • Experience mentoring junior team members and providing on-call technical support for colleagues.
  • MQ-9 Avionics systems experience
  • Ability to work in high pace austere environments
  • In depth OCONUS deployment experience

Responsibilities

  • Support a classified customer in both CONUS and OCONUS operations with <25% Travel
  • Support day to day factory system operations and repairs.
  • Work in an engineering-centric role, to support product test, development, and integration for various Special Access Programs (SAPs)
  • Develop Field Specific lessons learned for integration and employment of leading edge systems, for various customers.
  • Lead training of junior team members and aid in continual development of field specific procedures for emerging and evolving technology.
  • Act as liaison to field teams and engineering, to communicate system changes and requirements.
  • Diagnose and capture system issues from customer channels, to support continual product spiral development.
  • Be the face of both the program and company, relied heavily upon for operational support and decisions in a real-world capacity.
