About The Position

As a Principal / Senior Staff Software Engineer, you will lead a high performing team of software and engineers developing the next generation of high throughput 5G NR wireless systems. This will included architecting, designing, developing, and coding major system features. You will guide and mentor the software team, innovate and improve software development processes, and work with cross function engineering teams. Also, you will work with systems design and test teams to integrate and validate novel 3GPP wireless technology concepts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or closely related field.
  • 10+ years of recent and hands-on software development experience with C and/or Modern C++.
  • 7+ years of experience in software and algorithm development for PHY (L1) 5G or LTE wireless systems.
  • 7+ years of experience taking complex software from concept to finished custom-ready products.
  • 5+ years of experience developing software for real-time Linux systems.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or closely related field.
  • Networking concepts, protocol, and networking tools (e.g., Wireshark, tcpdump).
  • Debugging techniques for real-time software applications.
  • Kernel debugging including core dump analysis.
  • Optimizing software performance.

Responsibilities
