About The Position

GitGuardian is a global cybersecurity scale-up seeking a Principal Sales Engineer based in the US, specifically in the PacNW. This role involves nurturing and supporting an extended sales cycle, explaining and demonstrating the GitGuardian platform to various stakeholders. The Sales Engineer will act as a close ally to Account Executives, serving as the technical voice and product expert. Responsibilities include supporting Proofs of Concept (PoCs), performing technical product demos, addressing concerns, supporting pipeline generation through secrets analysis, architecting custom workflows, and handling Tier 1 support for existing Enterprise customers post-sales. The role also involves partnering with Marketing and Product teams to create technical collateral. The ideal candidate will have significant experience (4-7+ years) as a technical Sales Engineer in a Cybersecurity, DevOps, or DevSecOps environment. A solid understanding of the modern SDLC, microservices vs. monolithic architecture, and CI/CD is essential, as the role requires communicating technical details to other technical teams. Experience with complex sales cycles in large Enterprise environments and strong project management skills, including multi-threading with various stakeholders, are also crucial. A customer-facing and sales-oriented personality is expected. Spanish and/or Portuguese speaking skills are a plus.
