Principal RF Sensor Lead Engineer (REA)

RTX•Tucson, AZ
•$107,500 - $204,500•Onsite

About The Position

Raytheon’s Effector RF Design Department designs, develops, and supports RF hardware—including seekers, sensors, antennas, transmitters, receivers, and exciters—for next-generation tactical missile systems throughout the engineering development lifecycle, from concept development and requirements definition through design, qualification, testing, and transition to production. The Principal RF Sensor Responsible Engineering Authority (REA) will support advanced technology missile programs and serve as a technical authority for RF sensor hardware. The role oversees supplier development, coordinates technical reviews and hardware acceptance, manages requirements and technical documentation, and supports integration, laboratory and field testing, and failure analysis. The position is onsite in Tucson, Arizona, with regular supplier travel approximately once every one to two months. Relocation assistance may be available to eligible candidates. The position requires an active and transferable U.S. government security clearance before the start date; the candidate must be a U.S. citizen. The ability to obtain an interim clearance before starting and special program access after starting is also required. The salary range is $107,500–$204,500. Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits and incentive compensation, subject to position, business-unit, and collective-bargaining eligibility.
