About The Position

Leads improvements to production infrastructure, platforms, and services, collaborating with team leads and stakeholders to design scalable solutions for a changing environment. Analyzes production support operations, investigates errors across teams, and implements fixes and complex enhancements. The role drives design and development of enterprise supporting systems, identifies application or server architecture and networking solutions, and leads code and architecture reviews to improve product and service health, scalability, and resiliency.

The position also coordinates moderately complex projects, prioritizes and delegates work, partners across the organization, addresses problems, contributes to process improvement, and coaches junior team members. It participates in candidate interviews and provides hiring recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance and improvement of production infrastructure, platforms, and services, and design and implement scalable environments.
• Collaborate with organizational team leads to direct work and adapt solutions to their needs.
• Design scalable solutions for changing requirements, including configuration deployments, monitoring, and logging.
• Lead analysis of production support operations, identify fixes, investigate errors, debug source code and performance bottlenecks, and determine when root cause analysis is needed.
• Enhance troubleshooting processes.
• Build complex enhancements and review proposed enhancements to resolve defects.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams on service health, pre-production testing, post-change validation, and automation that improves testing frameworks and methods.
• Identify and implement improvements to production infrastructure, platforms, and services.
• Use standard templates to create user acceptance test plans and participate in operational readiness for new services.
• Drive the design, development, configuration, and deployment of enterprise supporting systems.
• Build relationships with internal or external customers to implement large-scale solutions, business process architecture, and application system design and implementation.
• Lead stakeholder meetings for requirements gathering.
• Identify application or server architecture and networking solutions, and drive architecture standards and practices aligned with business goals.
• Drive the design, development, and enhancement of products and services while ensuring alignment with business feature requirements.
• Lead code and architecture reviews and resolve complex performance and scalability issues.
• Identify opportunities to improve product and service health, scalability, and resiliency, and participate in performance benchmarking.
• Coordinate moderately complex tasks, monitor timelines and deliverables, delegate and prioritize work across projects, provide technical oversight, and adjust plans as needed.
• Collaborate across the organization and incorporate business leader, stakeholder, and customer needs into solutions; seek and listen to diverse perspectives.
• Analyze information to address moderately complex problems, escalate critical or unresolved issues with assessments and potential solutions, and document problem-solving strategies.
• Pursue learning and feedback, stay current with industry trends and best practices, and coach and mentor junior team members.
• Recommend and help implement process improvements, evaluate their impact, and solicit feedback on alternative approaches.
• Participate in candidate interviews, assess candidates, and provide hiring recommendations.
