About The Position

Northbeam is seeking a Principal Product Manager to own significant portions of the company roadmap and lead complex product initiatives from conception to completion. This role is part of the Product and Design organization and reports to the Head of Product. It's a hands-on, individual contributor position for someone passionate about product development, including writing specifications, engaging with customers, collaborating with engineering and data science, working with design, and managing releases. The company emphasizes a fast-paced environment and encourages individuals who generate momentum.

Requirements

  • 7+ years in product management at a B2B SaaS company, operating at a senior level and shipping products with significant scope and complexity.
  • Fluency in marketing measurement, including MTA, MMM, incrementality testing, pixel and server-side tracking, platform APIs, and privacy constraints.
  • Track record on data-heavy products, including experience shipping products built on large-scale data pipelines, analytics, or ML models.
  • Demonstrated experience building with AI, including shipping AI-powered product capabilities (LLM features, agents, ML-driven workflows).
  • A driver's mentality with a default to action, relentless pursuit of solutions, and thriving in a fast-paced environment.
  • Expertise in the craft of product, including writing effective specs and PRDs, conducting insightful customer calls, and using data to pressure-test assumptions.
  • First-principles problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex problems, form hypotheses, and test them.
  • Customer obsession, with a conviction built from direct customer contact and a desire to work directly with clients.
  • Experience partnering closely with designers and design leadership.
  • BS degree required; an engineering, computer science, or data science background is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Own significant portions of the company roadmap by synthesizing customer needs, market dynamics, data science capabilities, and company strategy into a clear, prioritized plan.
  • Lead large, complex product experiences from concept to execution, taking ambitious product bets from ambiguous ideas to shipped, adopted products.
  • Work directly with customers (brands and agencies) through calls, onsites, and betas to understand their measurement problems and translate that understanding into product decisions.
  • Drive the integration of AI into the core product, focusing on areas like agentic analysis, natural-language insights, and model-driven recommendations.
  • Partner closely with design leadership to ensure shipped products are both powerful and user-friendly.
  • Own product quality for launches, including defining and running user acceptance testing.
  • Run rigorous product development sprints, including scoping MVPs, prioritizing stories, defining roll-out plans, and testing before launch.
  • Equip go-to-market teams (Product Marketing, Sales, Customer Success) with necessary information and support for product launches.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Data Science, Sales, and Customer Success to align teams behind the roadmap and ensure honest execution.
