Principal Product Manager, AI Frameworks
About The Position
NVIDIA is seeking a Principal Product Manager for AI platform post-training and reinforcement learning (RL). The role is responsible for building tools, SDKs, libraries, and frameworks that help researchers and production model builders achieve large-scale performance, resilience, and a strong experience on NVIDIA GPUs. The position champions the needs of frontier model builders and supports research and research-to-production across current and emerging modeling paradigms. The Product Manager works directly with internal and external customers to identify product improvements, develop roadmaps, and track the training and post-training landscape. The role also partners with NVIDIA leadership to define product strategy and with marketing teams to develop go-to-market plans. NVIDIA describes its Product Management organization as a small, impactful group focused on enabling deep learning across GPU use cases.
Requirements
- Experience with the design and scaling of training/post-training and optimization software, such as VeRL, Tunix, NeMo Framework, PyTorch Distributed, or TorchTitan.
- Demonstrable knowledge of generative AI or machine learning concepts, particularly model training, performance optimization, and software development and delivery.
- Experience with large-scale distributed systems.
- BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a similar field, or equivalent experience.
- 15+ years of technical product management or similar experience at a technology company.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Nice To Haves
- Experience leading RL from research to production at scale.
- Experience working on open-source and GitHub-first developer products with deep customer interactions.
- Knowledge of GPU architecture, hardware/software co-design, and performance profiling.
